M2AB: What motivated you to join Marching Mizzou?
Sam: As a high schooler with a love of marching band, I always knew that I wanted to be in Marching Mizzou. I wanted the opportunity to continue with band in college and get the opportunity to perform for thousands of people.
M2AB: What is your favorite Marching Mizzou memory?
Sam: As a student, my favorite memory was when Mizzou Football won the SEC East Championship in 2014, which earned us a trip to Atlanta! As a staff member, my favorite memory is the Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade in 2024.
M2AB: What is your favorite Marching Mizzou or Mizzou tradition?
Sam: My favorite Marching Mizzou tradition is Flip Tigers during pregame!
M2AB: What advice would you give to current students in M2 about how to make the most out of their experience?
Sam: My advice to current students in Marching Mizzou is to meet someone new at every chance you get. Never pass up an opportunity to introduce yourself to someone from a different section.
